A universal mount is now available to our customers to simplify the installation of the Gallery Stretchers. The mount consists of (2) brackets, a left and right facing bracket, that attaches to almost any work surface. The ProMod-8 uses (4) brackets.

Universal Mount on Bench
Installing Universal Mount for 60″ (see video clip)
Locate centerline of bench and make a mark. Place the left-hand bracket (identified by the forward most tab on the left outside edge) 21.125″ to the left of the centerline and secure it to bench using 2 holes at top of mount.

Locate Center of Bench
Place right-hand bracket 21.125″ to the right of the centerline. The distance between the 2 brackets as measured from the top outside edge to top outside edge should be 41.25″.

Measure 21.125″ to the left of mark and install left-hand bracket

From left edge of left-hand bracket measure 42.25″ to the right and place right-hand bracket at mark. Secure to bench.

Distance between brackets from outside to outside should be 42.25″. Distance between to small tabs at front of bracket should be 39″ apart.
Installing Universal Mount for ProMod-8
Locate centerline of bench and make a mark. Place the left-hand bracket (identified by the forward most tab on the left outside edge) 15.125″ to the left of the centerline and secure it to bench using 2 holes at top of mount.
Place the right-hand bracket 15.125″ to the right of the centerline. The distance between the 2 brackets as measured from the top outside edge to top outside edge should be 30.25″. Now take the second left-hand bracket and install it 24″ to the left of the previously installed left-hand bracket as measured from the small front tabs. Repeat this step for the 2nd right-hand bracket.
Mounting Machine
There are (2) screw holes on the lip of each bracket and another screw hole on the side, any or all can be used. There are (2) tapped holes with nylon screws to hold the machine in-place and another to adjust to level the machine once it is placed on the mount.

The machine is placed on the mount by placing the back rail of the machine in the back notch of the brackets. The machine can then be tilted forward and aligned so that each tab of the bracket is on the outside of the support bar beneath the machine. A threaded nylon screw can be used to hold the machine firmly in-place.
